The Happiness Club was established at PCPS&RC on 9th September 2016, in alignment with the instructions of the UGC and under the initiative of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
Objectives:
- Enhance Workplace Satisfaction: Promote interaction and give outcomes that contribute to social welfare, focusing on achievements in the domain of happiness.
- Focus on Happiness Pillars: Undertake ongoing, dynamic and measurable activities that address and strengthen the pillars of happiness.
- Translate Happiness Culture into Practice: Innovate ways to turn the culture of happiness into tangible benefits for the community, ensuring widespread social impact.
Key Functions of the Committee:
- Concrete Steps for Happiness: Implement effective measures to bring the concept of happiness from abstraction to reality.
- Self-Development Initiatives: Facilitate self-growth for faculties, students, and staff through motivational programs, meditation, counselling and similar initiatives.
- Promote Administrative Excellence: Strive for operational excellence in all administrative functions.
- Encourage Positive Thinking: Foster an environment where positive thinking is a core value and practice.
- Create an Eco-friendly Environment: Develop sustainable, eco-friendly practices for the well-being of the campus and surrounding areas.
- Cultivate Selfless Thinking: Establish a networked framework that encourages a collective effort toward shared goals.
- Community Development: Organize and support activities that enhance positivity, improve well-being, and contribute to the welfare of the people and society.
