Objective of the Committee:
The primary objective of this committee is to increase the number of admissions across the various courses offered by the PCPS & RC. The committee aims to achieve this by engaging in effective promotional activities such as distributing pamphlets, conducting counselling sessions and organizing admission camps.
Functions and Powers of the Committee:
- Facilitating Admissions: The committee plays a key role in assisting the management to secure maximum admissions for the various courses provided by PCPS & RC.
- Coordination: It acts as a liaison between different college committees and the faculty, gathering and providing valuable suggestions and feedback related to admissions.
- Student Admission Records: The committee is responsible for preparing and submitting a comprehensive list of admitted students to the principal.
- Document Verification: The committee ensures the verification of original documents submitted by students during the admission process.
- Maintaining Student Files: It is tasked with maintaining and organizing the personal files of students, ensuring that all necessary certificates are properly filed and stored.
- Categorization of Students: The committee ensures that the students are categorized based on their academic performance, sorting them into General, OBC, SC/ST, and Minority groups according to their respective percentage brackets.
- Admission Camps: The committee is also responsible for organizing camps and other outreach initiatives to promote the courses and assist potential students with the admission process.
