POST GRADUATION COURSE MASTERS OF PHYSIOTHERAPY
(IN NEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS, ORTHOPAEDICS CONDITIONS, CARDIOTHORACIC CONDITIONS AND SPORTS)

ELIGIBILITY : Successful completion of BPT from a recognized University.

Course duration : 2 years Master degree course.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Enables students to update the adequate medical knowledge of the basic medical subjects in the practice of physiotherapy of their specific concerned field/branch.
  • Develop advanced skills in evaluation/assessment and application of therapeutic techniques like  electrical modalities, exercise therapy and remedial massage for the management of various medical and post-surgical conditions.
  • Development of proper attitude for compassion and concern for the individuals / patients and welfare of the physically handicapped in the community.
  • Demonstrate skills in teaching, management, research guidance and counseling.
  • Practice moral and ethical values regarding their profession.
  • To develop the advanced updated professional knowledge and skills of their specialized branch in the students.
  • To make them enabled and competent professionals for their independent reputed existence as a PRODUCTIVE HEALTH CARE EXPERTS .
  • To promote them in research and thesis work of their concerned field.
